The Katy Luxury Highrise Rooftop Dog Park

The Katy is a luxury high rise apartment building in the heart of Dallas, Texas. Building owners wanted to give their dog-owning residents a clean and green space where their dogs could play and do their business. The ForeverLawn Texas team worked with the project heads to design a stunning rooftop space surfaced with 3,300 square feet of K9Grass® Classic synthetic turf by ForeverLawn® for a fully drainable and soft, lush space for dogs. The coolest feature of this installation is the infusion system that inserts an enzyme cleaner into the irrigation system to help maintain cleanliness. Unlike other types of artificial grass, K9Grass synthetic turf provides a comprehensive solution that works in areas you would otherwise not be able to have grass, like on a rooftop! The turf was installed over 160,000 pounds of aggregate that was transferred onto the rooftop in Super Sacks.
